LOCAL BADMINTON CLUB ON THE LOOK OUT FOR NEW MEMBERS

Carrington Badminton Club, which plays at St James's Catholic School just off the A34 in Cheadle Hulme, is looking for players from across the area join the club for the Winter season.  The club has two teams in Division 2 of the Manchester League and a team in Division 1 of the Stockport League.

Club nights are on Mondays from 7pm – 10pm and players are invited down to try out the club.  Visitors pay £5 each Monday or can join the club for the whole season.  

The club would particularly suit those who play socially with friends each week and are looking to take their badminton to the next level and play competitively.   It could also be of interest to those who played the sport as a youngster and are looking to get back into playing regularly again – as well as people who have played in leagues before and just moved to the area.   There’s a club night each week and lots of socials planned throughout the season too.
